Description

Kaposi's sarcoma (KS) lesions located over the medial left ankle and foot.
In more recent years, the vast majority of cases of Kaposi's sarcoma are found in patients with AIDS (acquired immunodeficiency syndrome). The most common site for KS is on the skin, but it may also affect internal organs, particularly the lymph nodes, the lungs and digestive system.
