Description

Kaposi's sarcoma (KS) on the leg, initially appeared to be a stasis dermatitis ulcer. In more recent years, the vast majority of cases of Kaposi's sarcoma are found in patients with AIDS. The most common site for KS is on the skin but it may also affect internal organs, particularly the lymph nodes, the lungs and digestive system.
