VEST – Liberia
Date
2014 - 2016
Description
"Centers for Disease Control," a khaki cargo vest that was worn by CDC deployers to identify themselves during the 2014 – 2016 Ebola response in Liberia. In this case, the common acronym for the United States Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, CDC, was not used because the Congress for Democratic Change, a major political party in Liberia, is also known as CDC.
