Description
Daniel W. Martin, public health advisor in the Division of Global Health Protection within the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, reviews his career and then describes his first deployment to Sierra Leone as part of CDC's response to the 2013-16 Ebola epidemic. In that initial deployment, Martin worked as a field epidemiologist in Tonkolili District in October and November 2014.
