Description

Interview 1: Samuel T. Boland, PhD candidate at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine, provides some personal background and then describes his experiences engaging with Sierra Leone's 2014-16 Ebola epidemic. Boland worked with King's College London's Sierra Leone Partnership in Freetown at the outset of the epidemic, then with the Irish organization GOAL in Port Loko and Kambia Districts in 2015.

Interview 2: Samuel T. Boland, PhD candidate at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine, describes his experiences surrounding the evacuation of Partners in Health Ebola responders from Sierra Leone in March 2015. At the time, Boland was working with the Irish organization GOAL. Boland then describe his time in Kambia District and offers some final thoughts on his time in Sierra Leone and the international Ebola response.
