Description

Interview 1: Dr. John T. Redd of CDC's Division of Global Health Protection outlines his career and education, then digs deep into his time in Sierra Leone helping lead the agency's 2014-16 Ebola response. At the time of this interview, Dr. Redd had filled many roles across several deployments, including as an epidemiologist, CDC epidemiology lead, CDC response lead, and acting country director for CDC's Sierra Leone country office.

Interview 2: Dr. John T. Redd of CDC's Division of Global Health Protection discusses responding to the last few clusters of Ebola in Sierra Leone in 2015 and 2016. He then describes being named Paramount Chief Healer of Paki-Masabong Chiefdom. At the time of the interview, Dr. Redd was serving as associate director for science in the Sierra Leone country office.
