Dr. John T. Redd of CDC's Division of Global Health Protection outlines his career and education, then digs deep into his time in Sierra Leone helping lead the agency's 2014-16 Ebola response. At the time of this interview, Dr. Redd had filled many roles across several deployments, including as an epidemiologist, CDC epidemiology lead, CDC response lead, and acting country director for CDC's Sierra Leone country office.
