Description

This photomicrograph reveals some of the histopathology of a section of gallbladder tissue in a case of cryptosporidiosis. You’re able to see numbers of Cryptosporidium sp. parasitic organisms lining the luminal surface of the epithelial cells. In this particular case, this patient had acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS).
