Multi-colored wristbands were issued daily to personnel at the entrance of the United States Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) headquarters in Washington, DC upon a normal body temperature reading and confirmation of no change in symptomatic status as part of the COVID-19 screening protocol during the pandemic.

Some of these wristbands were daisy-chained together over a period of months and used by staff to decorate office cabinets.
