Description

An ISI Anthropometric Model SR-085 test head form, used for the testing and design of power-air purifying respirators (PAPRs) by the National Institute for Occupational Safety & Health (NIOSH). Tape was added to seal the N95 mask to the sides of this test head form, ensuring that the effectiveness of the N95 mask was measured as accurately as possible. Tests like this provided data that helped inform CDC's mask wearing guidelines during the COVID-19 pandemic.
