Osman Barrie, district surveillance lead for Kambia District with Sierra Leone's Ministry of Health and Sanitation, briefly describes his background, then details his work in response to Sierra Leone's 2014-16 Ebola virus disease epidemic. Barrie first dealt with Ebola while overseeing health matters in Briama Chiefdom, then transitioned to overseeing Ebola surveillance across Kambia District.
