Description
Jessica C. Goodell, epidemiologist with the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the state of Maryland, briefly reviews her career and then discusses her work responding to the 2013-16 Ebola epidemic. Goodell worked as a field assignee in New York, where she helped set up and support a call center for travelers returning to the US from countries with Ebola transmission. She then deployed to Port Loko, Sierra Leone, as a field epidemiologist.
