Description
Thomas K. Nagbe, director of the Infectious Diseases and Epidemiology Division of Liberia's National Public Health Institute, briefly reviews his career and then describes his efforts to stem the 2014-16 Ebola virus disease epidemic in Liberia. During the epidemic, Nagbe was serving as the director for Disease Prevention and Control in the Liberian Ministry of Health. He led the epidemiological surveillance technical working group and supported coordination at the national level.
