Description
Dr. Stephen C. Redd, director of the Office of Public Health Preparedness and Response at the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, briefly reviews his career and then describes his involvement in CDC's response to the 2013-16 Ebola epidemic. In addition to running an office which contributed heavily to the response, Dr. Redd helped CDC coordinate with other US agencies like ASPR and the Department of Defense, spending time briefing Congress members on the state of the epidemic and US response.
