Description
Dr. Pascale Krumm, health communications specialist with the Center for Global Health in the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, gives some personal background and then describes her work as part of CDC's 2014-16 Ebola epidemic response. Beginning in September 2014, Dr. Krumm deployed to Guinea three times and Mali once as a health communicator, and often interpreted for CDC Director Tom Frieden during his visits to West Africa.
