Dr. Karlyn D. Beer, epidemiologist in the Mycotic Diseases Branch of the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, briefly reviews her career and describes her role in CDC's 2014-16 Ebola response in Liberia. Dr. Beer traveled to Liberia as an Epidemic Intelligence Service officer and worked with CDC's epidemiology team in September and October of 2014.
