Description

Interview 1: Dr. Mateusz Plucinski, epidemiologist in CDC's Malaria Branch, describes his background and then digs into his role in the agency's 2014-16 West African Ebola epidemic response. Dr. Plucinski deployed to Guinea as an Epidemic Intelligence Service officer in May 2014, spending time in both Conakry and the Forest Region.

Interview 2: Dr. Mateusz Plucinski, epidemiologist in CDC's Malaria Branch, describes his support for Guinea's malaria control efforts during the 2014-16 Ebola epidemic, including an effort to determine how Ebola impacted malaria control.

Interview 3: Dr. Mateusz Plucinski, epidemiologist in CDC's Malaria Branch, describes his August/September 2015 deployment to Guinea-Bissau to help strengthen that country's preparedness for a possible introduction of Ebola.
