Description

“The Epidemiology of Poliomyelitis in Burma, 1963-1979,” a report written by Doctors Schonberger, U. Thaung, Daw Khin May Khi, Than Swe, Ma Ohn Khi, and D. Bregman which assessed the likelihood of an imminent polio epidemic in Burma. The study uses serological, hospital, and survey data collected between 1963 and 1979 with an emphasis on the capital city of Rangoon. Produced by the International Symposium on Reassessment of Inactivated Poliomyelitis Vaccine, Developments in Biological Standardization, Center for Disease Control (CDC).
