“Poliomyelitis Surveillance Report: No. 20,” a CDC report summarizing the latest available polio data as of May 24th, 1955. Produced by the U.S. Department of Health, Education, and Welfare, U.S. Public Health Service, Bureau of State Services, Communicable Disease Center (CDC), Epidemiology Branch, Surveillance Section.

Including: Experiments in stool samples of patient and respective siblings show a higher titer against type 1 but not type 2 and type 3, and Wyeth vaccinated children’s non-vaccinated family members show signs of poliomyelitis (three cases).
