“Poliomyelitis Surveillance Report: No. 14,” a CDC report summarizing the latest available polio data as of May 17th, 1955. Produced by the U.S. Department of Health, Education, and Welfare, U.S. Public Health Service, Communicable Disease Center (CDC), Epidemiology Branch, Poliomyelitis Surveillance Unit.

Including: A non-paralytic case with meningeal signs, stool of patient’s sibling showing signs of Type 2 poliomyelitis virus. More than one case has shown symptoms in siblings.
