Produced by the U.S. Department of Health, Education, and Welfare, U.S. Public Health Service, Communicable Disease Center (CDC), Epidemiology Branch, Poliomyelitis Surveillance Unit.

Including: Five cases of polio stemmed from Cutter lab vaccination, one proving to be fatal, and one to be mumps. New cases of polio surface each day.
