CDC Border Health teams provided technical assistance to local officials implementing screening procedures at border crossings in Guinea, Liberia, and Sierra Leone. The stickers on the vehicle allowed CDC staff passage through checkpoints on the way to airports, seaports, and land borders.

EBOLA – Sierra Leone
A handwashing station at an Ebola checkpoint between Port Loko and the Western District, Sierra Leone. The water containers were filled with a water and chlorine solution and could be manipulated by a foot pedal, created out of branches and cords, to tip the containers towards the user.
