During which he examines five of the 205 poliomyelitis patients in the Trinidad epidemic of 1971-72. These patients included two 3 year old boys who were sharing a hospital bed (crowding due to the epidemic), a 2 year 5 month old girl in a tank respirator, a six year old blind boy who showed the classic tripod positioning and head lag of poliomyelitis, and a 3.5 year old girl.
